A/C service, 1994 to 2016

The machine in the trailer recovers, vacuums and recharges A/C on vehicles from 1994 to 2016, give or take, depending on the make and model. That is most of what’s on the road. Newer cars mostly run R-1234yf, which we don’t service.

Not sure which you have?
There’s a sticker under the hood that names the refrigerant, usually on the radiator support, a strut tower, or the underside of the hood itself. Send us a photo of it, or the year, make and model, and we’ll tell you.

Questions

How does a mobile mechanic work?

We drive to wherever the car is sitting and do the work there. No tow, no drop-off, no waiting room.

What can't you do on-site?

Anything needing a lift or an alignment rack: internal transmission work, engine pulls, mounting tires. We'll tell you before you're charged.

Can you check a car before I buy it?

Yes, and it's most of what we do. We meet you at the seller's, go over the car, and tell you what it needs before any money changes hands.

Can you do my A/C?

Yes, on most cars, roughly 1994 to 2016, though it varies by make and model. Newer cars mostly run R-1234yf, which we don't service. A sticker under the hood names the refrigerant, or ask and we'll check. Blower motors and heater work are fine on any year.

How do you take payment?

Card, tap-to-pay or cash, once the work is done and you've seen it running. Nothing up front.
